Ubuntu TEST version of CipherShed

Hi All

Say hello to a Ubuntu TEST version of CipherShed. If you want to help us test CipherShed, this is your moment. This is NOT a “release”. Please execute the following commands in a Ubuntu terminal and let us know what happened in the forum. If you can, help others if they ask questions.

If you do not have GIT installed use the following command:

    sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install git

If/once GIT is installed run the following 2 commands:

    mkdir ~/src && cd ~/src && git clone https://github.com/CipherShed/CipherShed
    cd ~/src/CipherShed && bin/prepare-ubuntu.sh && bin/build-ubuntu.sh

Use this command to start this TEST version of CipherShed:

    ~/src/CipherShed/src/Main/ciphershed

Okay, you should now have a test version of CipherShed running on your Ubuntu machine. Please let us know (again, in the forum) how things went and help others if you can…

NOTE: THIS IS A TEST VERSION – DO NOT USE IN PRODUCTION !

Thanks

Jos
